Need new 205x60x15's for 15x6.5 8-hole stock '94 E420 rims. Looking for UHPAS (live in Oregon)--any thoughts on Michelin v. Yokohama's? What about Goodrich Comp T/A VR4's? Dunlop SP Sport 5000 Symmetrical's? Thanks.

Pilot XGT V4 would be your best bet. With an E420, I'd go with 215/60/15 however.

Will the 215's fit on the stock wheels without rubbing, etc.?

I would pick the Michelin Pilot XGT V4 if you seriously want an UHPAS tire in 215/60/15. However, if you are going to encounter snow/icy conditions, I would not recommend these tires. Instead, I'd go with dedicated Snow/Winter tire and a dedicate 3 season tire.
I would also take this opportunity to upgrade your wheels and tires. Keep you stock 15 for winter, and get some nice tire/wheel packages. Either way, u'll be set. Hey easy 4 me to talk though Seriously, I would count on the UHPAS tires to help me more then a light snow covered road on few occasions.

With the topic title AVS DB vs. Pilot XGT V4 I didn't think we would be looking at other tire but for high performance all-season tires here's my take.

Pilot XGT V/Z4: very noisy, moderate snow traction, good dry handling and steering response.

AVS DB: extremely quiet, decent dry handling, ok wet traction, (haven't tried them in the snow, and very very quiet. (did I already mention that)

Dunlop Sport 5000: the best snow and wet traction(but still ok in the dry), pretty quiet, good all around tire.

Comp T/A: great tire 15 years ago but tire technology has passed it by

Thanks, Luke
