Which Tire For The Money For My 94' S500?

OK, I've had Michelin MXV4's (HR Rated) and Yokohama Avid V4 (VR Rated). Now pleae tell me what tire is the best road, traveling tire for the money. Has anyone tried the Turanza LS-V or even the Kumho Ecsta HP4 716 at $54.00 per tire??? This seems to be a deal after reading all of the reviews. Please tell me what you think!

Thanks!

for an all-season tire I strongly recommend the Turanza LS and for a summer only type tire the Pirelli P-Zero Rosso or the Firehawk SZ50 EP with the SZ50 being my first choice

Luke:

What about the Kumho Ecsta HP4 716? CHEAP! What has been you experience with them? The last tire I put on was the Yokohama Avid V4. What is your experence with them as well?

Thanks!

the Kumho is a pretty good tire when installed on a light weight car but, the SL is anything but light weight ..... I find the Avid V4 a little lacking in steering response and grip

Tires

I posted a note and Luke at "Tire Rack" suggested the Turanza LHS, "thank you" I had a "vib" issue since 94 dealer did all kinds of mods. I have replaced more Michelins than I needed. Just recently had the bushings replaced and installed the LHS, threw away 20k mile Bridgestones (all weather green or what ever they called them) every time I take the car out I look for the vibration---Its gone. So far I am happy, will probably never buy a Bridgestone again. Road force balance is a must!

Road Force Balance???

Who does a Road Force Balance, and what is the difference?

Luke:

Please tell me about the Kumho ECSTA KH11. Would these work on the big body "S" class? 94' S500

at first it sounds like the Michelins are the issue with you post and at the end it sounds like the Bridgestones are the issue ... care to clarify ????

I have to make an apology, I will never purchase a Michelin, the Bridgestone is a better tire, I guess the brain goes soft after while, thanks again Luke
