Rock damage to wheel - DIY possibilities?

My alloy wheel has a 1/2 inch jagged cut that looks like it was caused by an object that struck it while in motion. The cut is somewhat deep.

Is there anything I can do to fill in the cut to make it look less noticeable? Any silver paint or other kind of filler?

If not, what do you think a repair might cost?

Thanks!
