Moda R6 Finish

I have a set of Moda R6's in 18x8 / 9 staggered on my 500E.
The finish on the spokes seems to be fading / wearing thin. I think it is the effects of brake dust from the OEM pads as the front are definitely worse.

I have one wheel that has some curb rash and thought I might paint them but I don't know if it is possible for the wheel refinishers to get the same finish as was original.

I wash the car regularly and have kept a coat of wax on the wheels from day 1.

It is a great looking wheel, but I am disappointed in how the finish has held up.

Any out there have a similar experience?
Or have you refinished the wheels and gotten a silver that matches the original finish?

Thanks for any input.

I have the same wheels in 17 x 7.5, I had them on my 16V for a couple years and they held up well. During the last year, I've had them on my E320T which sees daily commuter running. I now have PBR Deluxe pads but ran Pagid's before. I notice the same thing, the paint on the sides of the spokes appear to be thinning, however, the paint on the face of the spokes look fine. More troubling is the rash that has accumulated on the rims from daily use.
