increase tire pressure for alignment?
1992 W124.
I did 4 wheel alignment at an independent. After coming back home from the shop, I checked tire pressure. I did it after dinner. So I guess the tires cooled. The tire pressure was 35 ~ 36 for all four wheels. I was amazed because I adjusted tire pressure to remmended value two weeks ago. The recommended tire pressure: at max load 28 front 33 rear, at normal load 27 front 27 rear. |

it takes several hours for the tires to cool and the ambiant temperature may have also played a factor in the pressure variance

wheel alignnments.....
are taken from the rim or wheel, NOT the tire.
