16x7.5 ET 41 Mercedes 8-holes from Europe)

Hello,

Can this be only purchased from the dealer, 16x7.5 ET 41 Mercedes 8-holes?

Does anybody know the part number and relative price?

I wouldn't mind buying the replicas, but I've heard of spotty build quality is this true?

If anyone could suggest other MB wheels for my 92' 300e, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you

I would honestly go for Tire Rack's AT Italia 8-hole replicas. It is a reputable manufacturer too.

BTW, good choice on wheels. I think the 8 holes really complement the W124.

Here are some pics of my car with the 16" 8 hole, which actually came stock on my car. The offsett is 46 and the stock tire size is 215/55/16.

E 220T,
I really like your car. Is it an Alabama car? Looks like it is an Euro model. Your web site says the car is stock. Those amber turn indicators are cool! The headlight wipers too. Your heater control knobs remind me of my old diesel. You want to sell? I want it!!!

I just recently bought this car in Germany of a MB dealer and imported it into Iceland where I live, so it is not for sale
This car is completely stock I think.

No, I still have the stock 15" wheels on my car.

BTW, I always thought that the E420 was a US-specific model. I guess not I really wish the US models had the diff and the wheels!!

Yes, you can order them from the dealer (expensive) or look for a set on German Ebaymotor (http://www.ebaymotors.de).

That's where I found my set of 16x7.5 ET41 8-hole wheels.

Well, I know one thing for sure I'm going to go with the 16x7.5, 8 hole wheels. I've been contemplating OEM or replicas, no one recently has said anything bad about the replicas.

Anybody have good or bad experience with the At Italia type 8?

Thanks

Original Equipment (OE) wheels are made stronger and more durable than the majority of aftermarket wheels out there (save forged wheels).

MB OE wheels have to endure a stricter quality control (QC) and engineering specifications. This is the dirty secret among aftermarket wheels told to me by someone who makes and sells aftermarket wheels. It's also the reason why aftermarket wheel (mostly cast) bend/get out of true compared to OE wheels.

If you can get find/afford them, get OE wheels.

Do a search of OE Wheels on Mercedesshop.

Thanks

I can't speak for the size you are asking about, but I paid in the neighborhood of $160 each for the ET44 (sportline-spec 8-hole) 7 X 15 wheels I have on my CE.

I have to guess that yours will be in the neighborhood of $250+ each as it will be difficult to find your size.
