Would like to know if subject staggered setup will fit under my 99 E300?

I believe the fronts are 7.5 width with 235/45/17 and rears are 8.5 width with 245/40/17. Currently have 215/55/16 on stock rim.

Prevously posted concerning 03 CLK55 in error and got no repsone.

the wheels will fit but the CLK uses shorter tires than you e-class so, you will need to change the tires

I thought the E Class "Sport" models from 99 used the 17" rim and rubber matching what I noted previously?

What would be the correct tire size for my application?

Can you tell me the correct tire size that would need to be used if staggered wheels were mounted on the E300?
