1972 Mercedes 250C

According to the previous owner, this car was last on the road in 1988 and has been a project car since that time. I acquired it in 1999 from its home in Lincoln, NE. It is a rare sunroof model with power windows, 90K showing on the clock. Bodywork has been completed and it is in primer awaiting paint and final assembly. It drives very well, with a very strong and quiet M130 twin-carb euro-spec engine with a manual 4-speed transmission. The engine compartment has been highly detailed and finished in DB 568 Signal Red in anticipation of final paint. The interior is tan MB Tex, and is in excellent condition, with new door panels. I have accumulated many new, NOS, and excellent used parts, including: head and taillights, steering wheel (ivory), dash (NOS in the box), left fender, stainless exhaust, many trim and interior pieces, Mexico cassette with amplifier, etc. The car has been garaged since 1999, and probably before, and is showing no signs of rust. An ideal first project, this car offers its new owner a satisfying high-quality restoration for minimal time and expense.

Price is $750, firm. Located Falls Church, VA. Driveable, but hauling recommended.

For an additional $600, I will include the ultimate rare option – a 5-speed transmission, completely rebuilt and never installed.
