I am selling this car for a business partner of mine, so any questions you have will have to be sent to me and I will get them answered.

The car is located in Austin Texas. I did a quick look around and it looks to be in great shape. No visible rust and only one minor ding in the drivers door.

There are some marks that look like white paint that can probably be rubbed right out.

The car has 98,000 miles and has been pampered. He is asking $10,500 but will entertain offers

I'll attach some pix of it, but be forwarned, we didn't do any detailing and I was losing light so I didn't even clean up the interior.

Take a look at this recent ebay '92 400E and at the final closing price. Lower miles, AMG kit. Maybe he will rethink his price. My friend just bought a silver '94 E420 for $9K with 100K miles.

That's great. I wasn't wanting to do a bidding type sale, just the old fashioned haggling. He chose the place to start, but that wasn't the end of the story, offers are certainly considered.

Here is the information I was able to get on the car:

Non-Smoker always.
The water pump was replaced in the last couple years
The car was getting hot at idle, so the cooling fan was fixed and a
new thermostat was installed.
The Brakes have been done (I also saw a receipt that had 4 wheel
alignment written on it, but didn't have time to investigate that).

What it needs:

The AC doesn't blow, but the compressor does engage. He hasn't had
that looked at at all.
The windshield washer bottle leaks.
When he purchased the car in 2000 (april) the power steering fluid
had a slow leak. He has never done anything with this, just filled it
when necessary.

Ummm... I dont knnow how much are you looking to sell for. When I bought my 400E, I got a steal on it. She had 140,000 miles with a fresh rebuild, and I paid just over 5 grand. Perhaps that would be a good starting point. What is the lowest you will take for the car?
