1970 280SE Green with tan interior. Very good condition. 30k miles on full engine rebuild. Body and paint 4 years old.
Starts and runs great. Smooth auto tranny. Nice chrome and exterior trim. The interior is
also very nice--no rips or tears. Original Kangol magnetic three-point
seatbelts, all power windows in proper working order, original carpet is
decent but could ideally use refreshing. All the instruments work
properly. Speedometer head rebuilt/recalibrated by VDO of
North America and the Becker Mexico was tuned by Becker of North
America.
-very good Yokohama Avid H4 tires, BOGE shocks, OE exhaust, MB door weatherstripping, MB windshield and seal, correct aluminum type wipers, newer fuel pump, newer heater levers. Brakes done last summer (fewer than 1000 miles). Rebuilt kingpins last sumemr,too.

If I recall correctly, was this car purchased from ANOTHER Aaron?

Yeah, I bought it from Aaron of the vintage board last year.

Why hasn't is sold? Beats the ***** out of me. I get *a lot* of tire kickers. I haven't put much effort into selling it besides CL. I still take my boy out on the weekends in it.

Wanna sell it, though. I need a down payment on another motorcycle

If I remember right, when Aaron sold the car the heater blower motor didn't work and it also need rear subframe mounts. Am I mistaken, or have these items need to be fixed.

Honestly, I was going to make Aaron an offer, but bought my wife a piano instead. This might be my second chance at this car......

The blower motor is still sitting in a box in my garage ;(

You get good heat when the car is moving, though. And Aaron replaced all of the cables.

I didn't repair the rear subframe mounts. I'll have to look at them. I did rebuild one of the kingpins and the brakes.

I am about to remove the plates and insurance. If the car doesn't go and I get time this winter, I might try going through the firewall to replace the blower.

I'll be in Cambridge next Thursday PM and evening.
