FS: 1986 190D 2.5 Diesel $2750

This is a nice 1986 201 body 190D. It has the 602 2.5 non-turbo engine

224 kmi on it

I have had it for 2 1/2 yrs and have replaced the following

transmission (with a used 80 kmi one from Potomac German auto) $850
and NEW torque converter from Rusty

fuel injector lines
hood strut (shock)
brakes (rotors and pads) front and rear
Brakes up front have been upgraded to use 300E (124) calipers
driveshaft flex disc
all the vent lines that run over the intake (black flex rubber tubes (NOT THE bypass lines although I have replaced those as well)
radiator overflow container cap with the correct pressure rated cap
taillights
new ignition lock cylinder and key set
the shock for the engine dampner (up front by the fan)
Tires have 8 kmi on them
strut mount bushings up front
motor mounts
grille insert
hood latch cable
headlight frames
Block heater and new block heater cable
belly pan (skid plate)
Becker radio and new Hirshmann antenna
A/C has recent charge and cools great
heater works great
interior is palomino and close to mint (I ripped out the old burgundy and replaced it with the entire interior from a 1988 190E)
suspension is good.

[ Receipts for all of the above]

This is my wifes car and since our son turned 5 she has used the other 300SD more and more since he cant kick as much when the distance between his child seat and the front seat is SO much more

Bad points
========
The sunroof is inoperative, and there are a couple of spots of rust near the sills (NOT structural at all)
Plastic dash cap (looks like the real thing) to cover a crack, this is actually a positive !!
windshield has 2 cracks (thin) that do not interfere with seeing at all, however I planned to replace it soon.

White in color, everything works and overall a real nice car. Nice paint

The 2.5 coupled with the new tranny/Torque-converter and the 3.69 rear end actually squeals the rear when taking off from a stop and has NO problem going up the Eisenhower tunnel close to 12,000 ft at 65 mph

Current mileage is approx 32 mpg.

It uses NO oil between changes (Rotella 15W40 at every 2500 miles)

Will do a complete filter change (air, oil, fuel) and diff fluid before pickup.

Comes with NEW water pump, secondary coolant pump, wiper, serpentine belt and lots more including a CD of the workshop manual

Can drive anywhere in the Metro Denver area for inspection by interested individuals
Fly in and drive it back anywhere in the continental USA. (guarantee)

Pictures tomorrow when the weather clears
