I saw this on Ebay a little while ago and thought this seems like a pretty good deal(bidding is now at $1,100). Even if it needs work it still seems like a pretty good deal. I wished I had the room for a second 300D. Interior seems fair/good except the cracks on the dash(did you know duct tape can fix this?)Engine looks ok I do see some parts real clean and some pretty dirty. Looks like it some wood is needed for the interior. The exterior actually looks a lot better than the leather. I think a good detail job may solve some of these problems. Thoughts on this from anyone?

I saw that car. The interior is pretty rough for a "low milage car". Not only that, if you look at the speedo
you'll notice that the odo screws are not set at the same position. I don't think that the miles are accurate. I don't have the guts to buy a used car
from looking at pictures. But I do like to look
The sellers feedback is alittle shabby too.

Very impressive eye on that. I just ran out and checked my car and noticed my screws are not the same either. The right one is at 12 o'clock and the left one is at 11 o'clock. I hope that makes sense. I know my mileage is fine because it has been in the same family and passed down. I probably agree with you the mileage may not be accurate because the engine seems a little dirty for that low of mileage. My engine has 221,000 and is a little cleaner. Plus the Interior seems a little rough for that mileage as well.

Ok, good to know. Mine are both the same at 3:00. I know mine are accurate also at 260+++. Yeah and he just cleaned that engine Notice how the turbo tube shines, no grime at all There is still some wet spots you can see. I can smell that interior from here Unfortunitly I can see the pedals enough. That's another place to check for wear or been replaced

I am learning more and more everytime you email me. My pedals are in better condition than that. Notice( I am sure you did) that the right side of the brake pad is down to the medal. I still think the cost if you can get it for that is worth it. I wonder what would happen if someone pulled up a carfax report?

Carfax is a joke, maybe you can find a inconsistancy, but don't relie on it. I had a 95 Jeep GC limited that I bought at a dealer auction (one step above ebay) Carfax was clean, it had been in a front end collision as a lease car. I had the accedent report in the glove when I bought it

Anoter good inspection device is a thin hankercheif or tissue and a frige magnet (not too strong) Put the magnet on the tissue and slide it along the body where you suspect bondo maybe hiding a rust problem. If the magnet falls off while sliding down the car, it's had body work done
