If anyone is interested, the 300E was hit on the passenger side rear panel.
It still Run's great, 111k miles, new OVP, wiring harness, ETA, the engine was repaired by a dealer in houston texas to the tune of 6 or 8 k it overheated due to loss of coolant, I assumed the head gasket went bad on my friends wife while she was driving and she didn't notice it.

My wife was hit 2 weeks ago while I was in Chile and the repairs would total more than the vehicle's blue book. I am not interested in repairing the car because I will be moving to Chile in July and will buy a diesel truck or car to take because the gas prices down there are 4 bucks per gallon.

I will post a picture of the damage if anynoe is interested and try to recover the blue book value as well as buying the vehicle for a low price from the state of california. My wife was hit by a Contra Costa County Sheriff on duty that was daydreaming on the job with his partner.

I hope I can get 10K from the state for totalling my car but they will probably give me 8k. will see
The car is fully loaded and the rest of the vehicle is on good condition. Gray in and out.
