For anybody who doesn't know Thomas, since he hasn't posted much in the last year, he has an outstanding MB maintenance site, and he's one of the most anal-retentive MB enthusiasts out there - I mean that in a good way, Thomas . I'd buy any of his cars in a second. I need an all wheel drive car, and if this was available 6 weeks ago (before I leased my Phaeton), I'd have called him straightaway.

nice wagon
Thomas: If I can make the timing work, this may be the car for me. I am specifically in the market for a white 4-matic w/my preferred interior color of tan or stone. This car is lovely. However, my husband bought me an '03 AUDI A4 convert. in July which I need to sell. (With three kids, this was not a good choice for my primary car). He brought home an 87 560sl two days ago which, after I get it restored, will function as our summer convertible, meaning I am now free to sell the Audi, and find the wagon I want. Maybe we can coordinate the 560 restoration and the wagon w/you. Please let me know what you think. We had planned to begin marketing the Audi after winter, as we live in OH. Appreciate your input and hope to work something out. Thanks. -mel rottinghaus

Dear Mel -
If the car is still available at the time you are interested I will be pleased to sell it to you. You should know there is a lot of interest in it, owing to its exceptional condition and very low mileage, and it may not be available much longer. Best of luck with your sale. |
