I have had a chance to buy a couple of late 80's and early 90's 190 class! Is this model a decent seller on todays mkt.? Or should I pass on these guys???? Have had good luck with the 124 series and have sold 2 of them!!!

I have owned 4 190E's and I love them. Check out www.190revolution.com for a 190E specific forum.

the answer to your question is yes and no. A friend of mine had 5 of them last year, a wagon & four sedans. Took him a while to unload some of them.
A 10 year old car is a 10 year old car. There is a market for it, especially for a nice, respectable looking and warrenteed mercedes. Can't give you advice on the selling prices possible. A 2.3 will not demand a premium. A 16v will. A 2.6 engine is also respectable. -CTH |

Did you say wagon? As in 190E W201 station wagon?

I just sold my 84' 190D 5-speed for $2,000. I think I got a decent amount of money for it considering there was some rust and a hole on the drivers seat.

I did say wagon. I shouldn't have said it was a W201. -CTH
