Hey all,
A customer of mine asked me to help sell his Jaguar so I figured I'd post it up here to see if anyone is interested in a bit of British luxury...
1991 Jaguar XJ6 Sovereign, British Racing Green with Biscuit leather, no rust at all on or under this car, originally from New Mexico. Paint is nice but there are a few chips and a scratch on the passenger side door. Interior is good, no tears in the leather, carpets are fine, headliner beginning to pull down a bit in the right rear corner but he said he was going to try to get that fixed before sale. Power windows and seats work fine, sunroof works fine, original H/K radio with Alpine CD changer in the trunk, central locking works but is sometimes intermittent (typical Jag problem). I don't know if the A/C works or not. The engine is the 4.0 straight six which is regarded by Jag mechanics to be the BEST engine that ever came out of Coventry. It does run extremely well and the transmission shifts fine and has the sport setting similar to some Mercs. Mileage on the car is 163K but if you ask someone who knows about Jags, they will tell you that these cars are known to run twice that without major problems (I was amazed myself!). I spoke with the head mechanic at Jaguar of Cincinnati and he indeed confirmed the longevity of these cars. Anyways, it does need a new set of tires but I think that was about it. The price is $2,750 on the car. Any questions, please e-mail me at
