1993 300D 2.5T For Sale

For Sale: 1993 300D 2.5 T, Arctic White w/ grey MB tex interior. 78420 original miles. Rust free southern car with complete service books. I purchased this car (70,575 mi.) w/warranty from Lokey Motors in Clearwater Fla. in May 2005. According to the dealer the original owner was an regular customer very particular about proper sevice on the car. Dealer would usually wholesale older cars but since they new the customer and history opted to sell it directly. Since purchasing the car I have had the completed following services:

Oil change 71,691 miles
Brake fluid

Oil change 73103 miles
Replaced shift bushing

Replaced L/Lower Ball 74109 miles
joint

Completed E service 76195 miles
replaced fuel hoses
replaced belts
repacked wheel bearings
replaced wiper blades

I have decided to sell the car due to limited garage space. I recently bought a new toy and do not want to keep this car outside. Lastly this is a clean well cared for car. I have picture available upon request ( to large to include in attachment)

1993 300D 2.5T For Sale

Sorry for omiting the price in my original post. Based on the condition and current miles (78K) I am asking $11000 for the car. I have tried to include photos of the car but the site will not accept them due to size. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Lastly, I would be happy to discuss the car's condition in greater detail. I have enclosed my telephone number. Please leave a message I will call you back.

1993 300d 2.5

Thanks fot the vote of confidence HomeRunPark. I whole heartedly agree since I have owned three of this particular model over the years. Keep in mind there are a lot of tired poorly maintained 124 models out there. This is a well documented car with low milage for a diesel.
If the 300D 2.5s has been serviced/maintained by the books it really is the perfect combination of build quality, comfort and excellent fuel performance (32mpg/highway). The 124 diesel (1990-1993) with the OM602 engine was a well tested power platform in Europe. Lastly this car has the ASR ( automatic slip control) option not included on all cars. Great car!

Cheers

still for sale? pics, please

Interesting car. I used to own a 93 400e, and always regretted selling it. Folly of youth.

Looking for a diesel replacement as a daily driver and a hedge against oil prices.

If the car is still for sale, could you send pics to depifster@yahoo.com?

Thanks,

Jack

1993 300d 2.5

Hello All

Oratuner purchased my 1993 300D and drove non stop back to Dallas. 124 diesels were made for this type of driving. I was a little worried regarding fuel availability (Katrina aftermath) but it appears the diesel was readily available and lines were short. According to Oratuner the same could not be said for gas availability. Very glad the trip went according to plan. I know you will enjoy the 300D for many years to come. I already miss her.
