I am just beginning to look at buying one of these - can you provide me with some further details on your car?

Feel free to PM or email directly to me if you prefer, thanks much.

I never quite understood why everybody trying to sell their cars, seem to love omitting any and all information about it.

If you want the thing to sell... you'll need a few things.

1) A ballpark figure.. even if it's high, something to haggle on.. not listing a price will make people skip over your listing.
2) Mileage! This is very important. If it's high mileage.. you *should* include any and all work that you did on the engine.
3) Photos will definately help. A cheap digital camera can be bought for under $100.. and can be used for things besides selling your car, too. Definately a good investment. Besides, photos are the next best thing to physically seeing the car.

When you provide the above things.. you can bet that your vehicle will sell for a better price.

asking $32K..but flexible

Zerohour3k 11-19-2005 09:10 PM

I wasn't referring to your ad, alone. I meant that generally, quite a few people who try and sell their cars here, usually omit key information that would get it sold. :P

sLoweredK300e 11-20-2005 10:19 PM

that car gives me a hardon

scargo70 11-21-2005 11:43 AM

And you have to love the people who don't include there location in their signature. Location is very important when buying

I hope you asking price of $32,000 IS A JOKE

The link associated with this car, states the asking price is 32,000 dollars. Im not a MB expert by any means, but come on, are you serious??????. I was thinking more in the 10-15k range, am I the fool?

milhan 11-21-2005 06:38 PM

kbb price

The Kelly Blue book price for this car, with this mileage, in excellant condition is $13,500. thats a little lower than your $32,000 asking price

BlackE55 11-21-2005 07:04 PM

KBB is a joke. Any generic price guide could never nail down a value on a specialty car. The best way to figure a price is to find comps -- hard to do with a low mi car, but there are a few around.

Yes, but books don't buy cars. People do. :)

How many nice low mile 500Es are out there?
