FS/Trade 1979 450SEL w/66k orig. miles in Florida
Hi Guys,
I am selling my 1979 450SEL (with sunroof) that has 66k original miles. It is located in Miami, Fl and was originally from Georgia. The car is light green metallic(chartreuse green) with a beige MB Tex interior. Work done: new MB Tex seat covers for both fronts and back, new transmission, new alternator, new battery, valve job, new heater/servo, new fuel pump+injector. The paint is good and shines, but with a couple spots, it deserves a nice paint job. The dash has one crack and the wood is in good condition. Mechanically the car is sound and drives out good. I am willing to trade for: older benz, diesel, motorcycle, boat, jet ski, jewelry, Rolex watch, anything of value. Stunning automobile. That shade of green on these cars has always been one my favorites on these cars. Hope it gets a good new owner!

Well, I would have been interested when I had my 95' Suburban- perhaps we could have traded. It still had a book value of $4800.
I was wanting to either sell it or trade it for a Mercedes. No luck trading, but I finally sold it back in November for $2500, then bought my 85' in December.

Ok, I found my original post, so here is the story. The car has been sitting at my Dad's house since he passed 5 years ago. The car will need a fuel pump and TLC to get it back on the road or use for parts. It has a metal bodied AC servo that is worth $300 to $400 by itself. I have too many cars/projects and will be relocating for work, so make me an offer.
