Wanted to buy:1990-1992 300E4matic

Im looking for a 1990-1992 300E 4matic. I would prefer it had the heated leather seats. I do not want the MBtex. Also in perfect condition. I am willing to spend a fair price for a nice car. Everything must work. Thanks Everyone. PS the heated seat option for this year seems to be rare. Not sure why. Need it for the Wisconsin Winters

Not intending to be a party pooper, but I'd give second thought to buying a W124 chassis car with the 4 matic all-wheel-drive system.

It was problematic, and in a way that can't be fixed. It was just an inherently bad design.

There is a ton of info in the archives to read if you have any interest.

The 4-matic all-wheel-drive that is used on the W210 chassis cars (from 1998-2002) is completely different, is highly regarded, and has proven to be reliable.

Yeah I hear ya. I already have a 1990 with 105,000 miles. Im looking to get one for my girlfriend. I know they can be a problem, I have read alot on the 4 matic. But you can always turn the system " off " on these model year cars, if they start acting up. I never had an issue with mine. I drive with it off in the summer, and I do get better mileage, acceleration, ect... I did have a 99 E320 4matic that I sold to my dad. I loved that car, but payments were too high.
