450SEL for Sale -- 76 130K -- NO RUST
With my recent purchase of a 68 230S, I want to sell my excellent 450SEL which has been totally refurbished mechanically, repainted and runs extremely well. This car has NO RUST (grew up in El Paso) and I redid the front end and motor mounts, new brake master cylinder, replace the Climate Control Servo, improved the interior and added all kinds of mechanicals that needed it. This car is in really good condition, runs very well on the road and is a steal at $3500 OBO

450SEL pictures
You are a long way from Dallas, but of course there are methods for moving cars around. Perhaps you travel over the US and could just drive it to WA??
Otherwise, a car carrier would charge you $1200-1500 just to bring it up to you. I have attached some pics and don't mind if you keep it outside and drive it in the rain .... it is a very good road car. Ben Carter

The Mrs and I talked about flying down and driving it back home. She is always saying I never take her anywhere.
The question is, how long a drive is it from there to Seattle? I can easily take a week off. I'm looking to replace my coupe with something that I can get a car seat into. I cna't even get Alex's seat into the backseat area let alone properly tied down via the seat belts. It would be my daily driver but then I've only logged 7500 miles on my coupe since 2003. It's kinda nice working half the days in the year and living 9 miles from work. What color is the interior (sp?). Michael

First of all - what a BEAUTIFUL automobile! If it runs as good as it looks in the photos, then it is one heck of a car!
Actually, it is about a 32 hour drive from Dallas to Seattle- according to our friends @ MapQuest. 2203 miles.
