Hey guys. You all seem pretty knowledgable so I thought I might drop a line on here and see if you all can help me out some. First off, let me rationalize why it says I'm "in need" of a 190 2.3-16. I'm currently 18 and was (please notice the tense...) lucky enough to have a 1986 190 2.3-16 as my first car. It was owned by the mechanic that does work on both my sister's (originally my father's) 1992 400E as well as my father's current car, a 2004 500E. Needless to say it was pretty well kept with minor interior fixes. Well, January of this year (2006) some idiot (not my choice of words, but doubtful the moderators would be happy with what I want to call him) totaled my car when he t-boned me on the passenger side doing about 65 in an old Dodge pick-up. Luckily for me his insurance company has said they will REPLACE my old car with one identical to it (1987 or 1986 will do fine).

Now, with all that garbage out of the way, I was wondering if there are any places, excluding autotrader.com and eBay, that sell these cars. In almost three months of searching I've come across one 16v that didn't look like someone beat it with a hammer (I can understand some "wear and tear" over the years, but with a car that only 2000 were imported here why are the majority of these cars in such disrepair?). So, with that being said, if you all have any suggestions PLEASE let me know.

Thanks for the feedback guys, and I appreciate that find Urquattro, but it's a bit too...red for my taste. Looking for a 86'-87' Black Pearl/Black 2.3-16 with the Getrag 5-speed (of course...). Got a few prospective buys, but if any of you have one fitting this descript drop me a pm.
