Have a 98 E300 TD that I have owned since Jan of 2000. I bought it at MB dealership in N.H. with 15K on it. I moved to Florida at the end of summer of 2000 and the car has been here since. I have always used synthetic oil, Mobil one and now using Amsoil. The car has never been in an accident and it now has 113,000 miles on it. Most of it has been highway driving, back to N.H. a few times in the summers and never back in the winters. In the last year, I have had the transmission serviced after it turned 100k. I just put new brake pads front and rear. Still has original rotors. New water pump and radiator this year as well as a new battery. I also just replaced the glow plugs and the timer (reason for replacing the glow plugs) I still love this car and it still looks new. Everything works . I had a six CD player installed in the trunk (in the wheel well area) and a custom made cover for it. I have gotten almost 40 MPG recently in a trip to S. Carolina. I drive at speed limits, so it was 70 MPH from Florida to there.. the mileage has improved since it turned 100K. It is a light beige color that most of the MB ads would show the car in... The body and paint is very good and has been garaged and I have all maintenance records. Still looks new and always receiving compliments from our friends. Hi, did those cars come with fold-down rear seats?

Sorry, no fold down seats in the rear. There is a fold down arm rest in the center which contains a drawer where the Factory first aid kit is kept...And if I remember right, it might have cup holders? or maybe that is in my GMC crew cab pick up... I never sit in the back seat..
