What is a '95 S350D with 250K+ worth?
My auction hook-up told me of a '95 S350D selling tomorrow with over 250,000 miles. Always wanted to try one of these and with those miles the price of admission must be cheap. What is a reasonable number to tell him to go up to if the car looks and runs half decent? For those that say, don't walk but run from that car, I would say I only plan to keep it a few months and that most things I should be able to fix myself.

I'm amazed if it went 250K on the original engine.
Wonder if someone replaced the engine along the way?? It's a roll of the dice with that vehicle. The luck of the draw could go either way. |

The car was very clean inside and out but it was Smoke Silver and I've already had two Smoke Silver Mercedes in the last 12 months. (Not a color I really care for in the first place and certainly not on a third one unless it is cheap.) I told him I would pay in the low $4's but he said it sold for $6,300.
