Not affiliated with seller, but thought I would post it here since the car is relatively rare, and in very nice shape. 190E 2.6 Sportline, Red, Sport seats with rear headrests, looks to be in VERY nice condition!

I didn't even know the Sportline was an option for the 190E. Now I do. Cool car, if it had lower miles on it, I'd buy it. Probably fun to drive.

Wow... nice! And it's right up the road from me! If anyone here buys it, I can store it for a short while (providing I get a test drive out of it).
Check out the same seller's '67 F250 Camper Special. Wow!

The Sportline 190E's are pretty cool cars. They came with a stiffer suspension, wider wheels, Manual OR Auto transmissions, and the usual interior trimmings. Most of them were not fitted with rear headrests, just the split rear seats. If I am not mistaken, the sportline package was avail from 1991 and on.
In 1993 MB issued a Limited Edition model of the w201 cars. They were de-badged from the factory, and were offered in 2 different variants- The luxury oriented 2.3 and the sport oriented 2.6. The 2.3 Limited Edition featured Emerald Green metallic paint, which was also painted onto the lower body cladding. It was fitted with the 8-hole alloy wheels, and headlamp washers and wipers. The interior featured a full Parchment leather interior including leather door inserts. Rear headrests were standard. The dashboard recieved an extra dose of wood trim, and was in burl-wood, rather than the zebrano. I believe it also head heated seats. The 2.6 Limited Edition was offered in Black, but the gray lower body cladding remained. it was also fitted with the 8-hole alloys wheels, headlmap washer & wipers, and featured the sportline suspension and badging. The interior was upholstered in a split Black and red, with leather door inserts, and red piping on the seats. the aportline rear seat was also featured, along with rear seat headrests. The dash was trimmind with mock carbon fiber, extending over the glove box, as the burl wood does in the 2.3 model. 500 of each were imported to the U.S. for the 1993 Model year. NEAT cars!
