I'm looking for a Mercedes turbo-diesel 5-cylinder that I can pull the engine and trans. Obviously, the engine and transmission should operate. It must be a four or five cylinder turbo. I don't care about the body or interior condition.

It must be near MD. I have cash.

I called, and it's a "you pull it" salvage yard. I called, and that includes engines. It seems like it would be a nightmare trying to pull an engine and trans in the mud and weeds.

I may try it though.

Do you need a complete engine?? I'm going to be picking up a 300D wagon this weekend, and motor and tranny are still in car. I'll know more about condition once I get it home...Not sure how many miles are on engine, will have to check and see. I'm in SE Virginia, if interested, please let me know....
