Records included. I'm missing the owners manual but, everything else is there. Including the hanging tags.
Mileage is 320K.

The big question: will it pass smog? Do you know if the catalytic converter has ever been replaced?

thanks
Fred

Are you a serious buyer? How's this... you give me cash and I'll get a shiney new inspection sticker installed.
Otherwise, PM with your offer and I'll see how it compares.

Guess that means it won't pass.... Where are you located? I would have a tougher smog being in the metroplex. I would like to check it out, I would not make an offer sight unseen. (on any car)

Judging by the pics, I'd take a look at it and probably purchase it - IF I were in Texas. I wish I could find them that nice around me for that price! A JUNK 560 went for over $1100 recently. Shot rear suspension, needing a paint job, and I didn't hear it run (but saw an idle RPM in pics of 2k!)

420 gas mileage?

What kind of mileage do you get on the highway at sub-sonic speeds? I've always wanted a v-8 mercedes, but I don't think I could afford the speeding tickets...seo

Too bad you are not closer Whisk.... I would sell my 85' 380 and buy it. 268K on mine and still clicking- I hate to get shed of it, but I really like the extended wheelbase models better. I guess I may drive my 85' a year longer then perhaps look into getting a 84-85' 500SEL or a 86-88'ish 420SEL.

Good luck! Should sell lightning fast at that price.
