$1500 makes it sound like this is some type of scam. What's wrong with it and why not just ebay it? You'll get your $1500 easily (and then some).

i talked to this gentlemen this evening.

he seemed nice, but there are discrepencies in the description. The car has 297k on it... the a/c leaks, and there are some hairline cracks in the dash .

i asked the mileage question last, and stopped there..

if it wasn't 2 hours away from me, i would go look... but i don't want to spend the time or the gas.

i wouldn't want to discourage a sale, however. mileage is just a bit too high for me/ I have enough projects as it is.

How long have you owned the car? There is an A/C leak mentioned. How bad is it? A/c work otherwise? would love you to email a picture or 2 off of the cell phone or borrrowed camera to kbubab@yahoo.com. Thanks.

I understand, and I wasn't implying you're a crook. When someone prices something awfully low, I just wonder what the Seller isn't saying about the car.

Good luck with the sale.

I purchased the car around 1993-1994 from the original owner and it has been in the family since then...

The A/C has a slight leak. I can charge it up and it will last about 1 1/2 - 2 months before another charge will be needed. Best as I can determine, not being an A/C guy, it seems to be leaking at the rubber line where it crimps or changes to the metal line near the compressor - Hope that made sense.
Of course when it is charged it blows very cold.

Thanks for your intrest

Blessings

No, i din't take it as if someone was saying i was crooked... It just happens to be one of lifes tough situations. Unfortunatly one (many) of my possessions must be sacrificed in order to make ends meet. I hate to let go of my M/B 'cause she has come in handy on occassions (trips, moving, etc)... anywho...

I figured what I originally paid for the car + what repairs have been made - what needs to be fixed - time/age of vehicle = Fair Price which is negotiable in order to sell.

Sorry for my rambling...

Thanks again for everyones interest and consideration.

Blessings,
Jerry
