$800 or BO 2 cars.. 300d, 300cd
2 Mercedes 300s
(1) 1985 300D w/ approx 240,000 miles. -Engine Runs Great, consistand oil changes -Body in excellent condition, dark blue, very very minimal rust but drivers fender was replaced so it is currently black, but i have the color match paint to correct it. -Interior is in decent shape with some cracks in the dash. -All power windows work besides rear drivers which was replaced with manual crank window so it still can go down. The somewhat bad stuff: -Fender is off color (but have color match paint) -Blinker liight is taped on, the tabs to hold it in broke off.. easy fix -It uses no key to start.. the key got stuck in the ignition one day so took out the ignition assembly and wired the starter to a momentary switch, but it works perfectly, just a lil different than usual. -Rear brake pads are down to the warning sensor.. you can hear a slight metal sound but they aren't down to the rivets yet. -Tires are in decent condition but not new within the last year. -AC works but does not blow very cold and will sometimes stop so must turn off the CC and turn back on again. Bad Stuff -Just happened.. exhaust split at the flange where it comes down from the exhaust manifold.. right next to the tranny. The muffler is in good shape but this needs to be welded back or replaced. -Tranny has a shake between 2500 - 3000 rpm, especially when going up hill.. bought a flex disc to install but have not yet so don't knwo if that is the problem. (2)1983 300CD coupe! silver -Approx 306,000 miles on body and ~220,000 on motor currently in the car. The prior owner replaced the original with one from a donor car. -Interior in decent condition with some cracks in the dash.. no radio. -Power windows/sunroof work -no headlights -ran about a month ago but battery is dead now, should start with a fresh battery -also the linkage from the gas pedal onto the engine is corroded and sticks to that would need to be cleaned up -missing drivers front fender.. put it on the 85 This was my original mercedes bought used early last year, rode it around til i found the 85 and it's sat and unfortunately came to be a parts car, donating the fender and headlights to the 85 mercedes. I just bought a new car (used but new to me) because i drive farther for work so i want to pass these cars on asap. The 85 can be driven, the 83 i would suggest towing because the fuel linkage and don't know how the brakes are. msg me for any interest. thanks, jeremy
