85 SD in Canada or 85 SDL
I am thinking about selling my 85 SD, or my 85 SDL, whichever one goes first.
I love these cars but Im about to do a SEC -> SDC convesion and need the money. the 85 SD, Just saftied last week, nicest interior i have ever seen, black leather seats, dark blue interior, Runs great, 275km Engine in excellent shape. Power door locks do not work, nor does the sunroof, or the power antenna cruise control works intermittently. This car is quiet, and smooth, drives great. Tinted windows, very minimal rust, light blue. this is an ultra sweet ride. Comes with all parts needed to fix, cruise amp, sunroof motor and cable. I want 4500 CAD, this is a nice car, no starting problems, no driving issues. MP3 CD player installed, or Original becker. The 85 SDL, this car is a one of a kind car, interior is good but far from perfect, Rear power seats no longer function. Some surface rust, will need some front suspension work for safety, (Guide rods), 300km on car, 350 on engine, in the past 2 years, has had new brakes, new glowplugs, new starter, new injectors, new waterpump, This is one of the only 85 SDL's in the world. Originally was an 85 SEL, but I installed the diesel. Gets consitent 28 MPG or better. (have records to prove it) Starts well, engine shakes and needs new motor mounts. I want 3000 CAD for this car. It has an veggie oil system on it, and will come with 100 L of veggie oil, oil filter bags, 2 200L barrels, fuel pump, everythink you need to start your own veggie oil setup. let me know if your interested, and ill email pics. A few of us have the idea to take a clean SEC and swap in a 603 or 606...

I am in Southwestern Ontario, And thought I know both of these cars are easily capable of the trip I doubt it would be worth you driving 3000km.
I drive them both on a regular basis, Oh if anyone is worried that I may have damaged my 85 SDL by using veggie oil incorrectly, I have only run the kit for about 100 km, and have a heated fuel filter, heated tank, and heated injector lines. It uses the expensive racor fuel filter, a pollack 6 port selector valve. I have been wanting to do a SEC ->SDC for some time, the primary reason is the reliability, simplicity, and economy of the diesel engine. I am going to put in a 617.951 with an intercooler. ill post pics as i proceed.
