So, I got a little ahead of myself earlier this summer and scored this 62 190D and a rusty 200D parts car. Like a million other people, I was thinking to fix this up for biodiesel use, but I have too many projects going right now, and this one is taking up a big chunk of my driveway. I need to thin the herd, so I am offering this project for sale.
The car is complete, and pretty sound but hasn't run since I got it. I charged the battery, tried to start it, determined that the glow plugs weren't glowing and that's where I left it. I was going to get the glow plug kit from **************.com and a new battery and try to get her going, but it fell by the wayside. There is some surface rust and a few dents here and there, and a little rust through behind the front wheels, but the door sills and floors are solid and without holes.
I am building a kayak, repairing and maintaining two powerboats, neglecting to fix the front end on my dodge/cummins truck, can barely see my 63 valiant behind all the other rigs in the driveway and just generally falling behind.
So what I want for this car is $500, which is what I paid for it. I also have the parts car that I want $150 for, a spare injector pump that I want $150 for, and several hefty shop manuals that I also want $150 for, but these will only be available AFTER the 62 is sold. If I end up unable to find it a new home, I may need all that other stuff!
The car is located in Skamokawa, WA, 35 miles west of Longview, WA on highway 4. I have a ton of pictures if you would like me to email them. I could conceivably be open to a trade of some kind, but I would really prefer the cash. you can email me directly at mw1 at redalderranch dot com .
