I am posting this on behalf of an older gentleman who needs to sell this car. It's a 1970 280SEL, in Louisville, KY. It's operable and presently licensed, but needs considerable body/paint work, for the usual reasons. I am not very familiar with this car but it appears to have a small straight engine, not a V8.
