Fs 1987 300sdl $5,500

I bought the car with the intentions of converting it to use WVO but never got around to it and I dont have the time right now. the car has 106k miles and is in good shape. Car fax verifies the milage. I recently had the entire wheel lock/tumbler replaced, 4 brand new tires, new glow plugs, new filters. email me for more info. I originally had the car priced at $6,500 but have since reduced my asking price for a quick sale. No Trades!
I just bought a BMW Z3 and need to sell ASAP.

The car is located in the Burlington, NJ area 08016

the follow items should be addressed by the new owner:
-Needs new brake pads (sensor light comes on every once in a while)
-Needs new oil cooler lines (small leak coming from the original line, its been leaking for about a month now and i havent had to add oil yet.)

Its a solid car at a reasonable price. Unfortunately I can't keep both cars and must part with my diesel.

is there any rust, and if you've been doing any reading on this car, you'll probably know my other question. lol

there are a few little nicks that have a little surface rust but nothing to be concerned about. The w126s dont rust out like the w123s.

Im guessing your other question is about the head?
Ive been driving the car on a regular basis since this past july and there is no evidence of a head problem. no oil in the coolant and the temp never rises much about the 80 degree marking.

One thing i forgot to mention in my previous post is the AC blows but not cold.

W123 rarley rust out, epecially if there a southern. i live in illinois and my w123 has absolutly no rust on it. infact 80 pounds of rust proofing was put on the w123's to keep them from rusting. Ive seen alot of SD's and SDL's with rust on the wheel arches.

Huh?

I live in NJ and ive never seen a 300D or 240D without rust. the cars from the late 70s and early 80s are rust buckets unless you live in the southern states and the car has never seen road salt.

do a search

I see that the car didn't sell. I might be able to do something about it if it's still available in the next few weeks. My finances will be in better shape then. Let me know.

I am very shocked that i did not hit my reserve price. An 87 sold a few hours before mine for over $7000 and wasnt in as nice of condition as mine but had records. This just shows how valuable the service records really are.

Im working on an arrangement with one of the bidders who lives 6 hrs away from me. If this doesnt work out and i still have the car in a few weeks i can contact you.

I'm local...

Very interesting! I just joined this Forum tonight on the merits of this listing, so you know I am interested as well toward making a good offer. If your SDL is still available, I would love to make an appointment to come out and see it. I too am surprised the bids did not climb higher.

I attempted an email, but suspect it may not have transmitted, as when I hit the send button it seemed to malfuntion. (Thus, my first post, here). If there is still any opportunity here, please let me know. Thanks!
