1980 240D Greasecar 204k- $1,500 - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

I have a 1980 240D with 204,000 miles and a 4-speed automatic for sale. The car runs fine and has a greasecar kit installed. Power windows work from center console. One of the rear windows doesn't work from the back. Lights work. AC works!! It does use of oil ~quart every 700 miles and drips a bit, but overall engine is strong. The car is light blue.

The following work has been done within the last three years:
1. Front bearings replaced.
2. Front rotors and pads replaced.
3. Tie Rod ends replaced.
4. Radiator replaced.
5. Greasecar installation (Round tire well tank).
6. Brand new tires.

Here are some of the issues:
1. It does have some rust spots. Most are surface rust, but there are a few more severe spots. The bottom of the car is very solid and without rust. This car spent most of its life in the south. The front driverside fender was damaged at some point in time and the front grille was replaced recently.
2. The interior is rough. Carpeting in front has been removed in some spots, the center console panel is broken, cracks in the dashboard, front window leaks on edges and water gets into vehicle.
3. Currently the greasecar system has a fuel air leak that I have not had the time to resolve. If someone were interested in the car, I would promise to get this resolved prior to purchase.
4. Cruise control works sporadically.

The car has a working electric sunroof and CD player. The starter is a bit fussy. Sometimes it spins freely without engaging. After a few tries, it engages and starts. I forgot to mention this in my original post.
