A woman I met has a 79 280CE for sale. Car looks nice but is not perfect. Odo broke at 129,00 she figures it have 135,000 on it now. Front seats need to be re done and the paint is starting to fade. It's white with brown interior. This car is very complete and looks well taken care of. She is the 3rd owner. Her parents owned it for 18 years.

recently i saw an 84 euro 230ce with 168k go for 1500.... some people are concerned about grey market issues.... exhaust system.... parts availibility.

It'd have to be a manual, without a brown interior, and with a working odometer to get anywhere close to $6k.
