1984 Mercedes 300D Turbo Diesel, 280,000 miles, gold paint, palomino interior, $750 OBO. It's not running because of a blown head gasket. Here's what happened: about a month ago it blew a head gasket. I've replaced the head gasket and reassembled the engine but during the reassembly I let the timing chain slack just a little and got the injection pump timing out of sync. Resetting the injection timing is simply more than I've got time to deal with so my small mistake is your gain.
The rest of the car is in decent shape, no dents, four decent tires, AM/FM/CD/Cassette. The interior is palomino and in very nice condition with no cracks in the dash or steering wheel as well as nice seats. There are any number things that need to be done to this car which is why we've already replaced it with another lower mileage sample and are moving on...
The car will need to be towed or trailered from my home and the sooner, the better!
