Smile 1992 Mercedes 300E Euro spec w/ AMG body Kit, and more

I am selling my 92' 300E euro spec on ebay. It has the factory installed amg body kit, amg lip spoiler, amg exhaust, amg wheels, and special edition amg suspension. I have the documents that show it came from the factory so everything is authentic. Here is the website for e-bay which has much more info and my contact. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=001&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=110101428873&rd=1&rd=1

Or you can make me an offer for it!

Looks like a really clean, low mileage car, and I'm sure you'll get a good price for it.

There's one thing that you appear to imply about your car's uniqueness, which is not correct:

"This rare car is unlike other 300E in the states. First off instead of having a 3.0liter m103 engine it is a 3.0 liter m104 which is 215hp versus the 178hp."

All 1990-1992 300CE's in the U.S. have the 3.0 liter M104 engine.

Zebrawood was standard, and Burlwood was optional back then?

Your right the CE did have the m104 but the regular 4 door did not, plus this is a m104europe which had different emission specs. I'm not sure about the wood thing interior, I just know that I have looked at other 300Es and their interior would looked completely different, plus I have no cracking in mine.

300CE's have the same burl walnut trim as your car.

What makes your car special is that it has the Sportline interior (bucket seats in the back separated by the wood console). That was a very, very rare option on 300CE's in the U.S.

Don't forget what also makes it rare is the AMG bodykit,AMG exhaust, AMG wheels, and also the AMG Suspension. Does anyone know what I should get for this car? it is grey market!

I personally don't think its gray market status will lower the value at all.

AMG cars are highly sought after, you just have to find the right buyer.

Best of luck on the sale.

This was the car I posted last week. I knew very little about the car and could find only that one that would the description of my. I have found out a lot more about my car now, and know the value is still high for it it is just not the Japanese car. But feel free to ask questions about it because I'm sure I know everything about it now.

Nice car, I don't think I can afford it, but it would be nice to add to my collection.

The miscrosoft website has a free download to do so.

BTW - what would it take to end the auction now? Seems like a good car. Have you had the car up in the air at all? What's the condition of the rear subframe.

What does not work on the car?

The only thing that doesn't work is the antenna which needs a new mast the motor works. The underside is dry and straight. Its detuned for us standards so it does not burn all the gas that goes into the engine. Give me price your willing to pay for it and I may consider to end the austion early

Sportline package explained: they were rare and coveted

VERY rare to see a four place seating option in a 300CE, or a 300E.
(I have never seen one in either)

Paul, this may be a custom set up in the rear seats of this vehicle.
It's a four door version. The Sportline package only was found in the W124 300CE coupe, and in the compact 190 W201 sedan, and in the UK you could get it on the W124 wagon.

The Sportline package gave you the following.

Sportline badging on front fenders and gearshift knob

Wider and larger tires, with AMG wheels

Sportline steering wheel smaller than stock, with quicker turning ratio

Sportline seats with firmer bolsters and firmer thigh support for sportier driving

Slightly lowered suspension with stiffer springs and dampers and a slightly lowered stance

The Sportline package wasn't split into exterior and interior packages, it was one integrated package which combined both.

Steve Nervig has a black 300CE Sportline, and it
is a beautiful car.
