FS: W124 AMG clone doner, RENNTech 3.6L, more San Jose, CA
I am NOT parting out but if you buy it then you can transfer these parts into a clean 300E, 88-90 300CE w/CIS, or even a 190E 2.6 chassis. You can even make some money if you part out what you don't use. I conservatively tallied $10k in parts. I would do this but I don't have the time and want clear my driveway. Asking $6k, email me with your reasonable offer. Serious cash holding buyers only. You can have a PPI of the engine if you want, I offer no guarantees of any sort. If you want it, act swiftly..
RENNTech 3.6L 255hp Stage 2 engine: RENNTech cam, Kobbelschmidt pistons, bored and stroked. The block may have started as a 3.2 but the head is M103 SOHC. The engine was installed in 1999 and has <80k miles on the engine and 160k miles on the chassis. Dove grey leather interior is very good the front seats have quality sheepskin covers. I have an inch thick folder of receipts totaling more than $30k in parts and labor. The car moves on it's own and can be repaired but it was reported totaled by the insurance company. The fenders are buckled and the trunk is compressed so the rear clip should be replaced for a proper repair. Only a frame shop can tell you if it's missaligned but the rear wheels are still centered in the wheel well. This has been my favorite car and cruised smooth at high speed. I love the styling and feel of this model, it was my fourth w124. 1987 pearl black sedan has many rare AMG parts including: -AMG embossed 4 spoke AGLA recovered leather steering wheel ($400 value) -AMG dual inlet air filter box (never found another to price) -AMG rear duck spoiler ($300 value) -RENNTech emblem -Eibach springs -Bilstein struts -drilled rotors, sstl lines -AMG (OZ) 16" 2 piece wheels (originally $1k new), one needs repair -1.5 year old Michelin tires -Supersprint exhaust -Becker Grand Prix CD stereo -Optima Red top battery -Good used transmission replaced prior to the wreck -European Bosch headlights with HID ballasts -Zebrano switch panels, no cracks, Zebrano wood shift knob -1 year old replacement windshield (non-OE) speed = pits -AMG instrument cluster (sticker) Extra parts not on car: -Zebrano European dash trim -Zebrano wood center box needing refinishing -AMG metal emblem -trunk lid with short spoiler -AMG front bumper, needs repair, one Bosch fog light -AMG side skirts, one plastic, one fiberglass -some spare parts Sorry, I am NOT parting... They came with the cars I purchased. One was an '85 w124 imported by AMG West that was wrecked thus the bumper damage. It had everything but the engine mods. I'm keeping the Recaro C's that bolt in w/o adapters...
