1979 280ce eurospec coupe, automatic, 107K, imported to Florida in the 90's. Color is Milan brown and appears original, with a near mint tan cloth interior. All the eurospec stuff; M110.988 engine, thin chrome bumpers, manual HVAC controls, town & country horns. The OEM eurospec headlights (Hella) and taillights are in the trunk. Body is clean with the exception of some rust over the passenger's rear wheel arch from a leaky rear window seal (new seal in trunk). Car always starts, does not leak and drives well. It's been our summer grocery getter. All power windows work as does the heater fan, headlights, taillights, turn signals. Only thing not working is the antenna which stayed down this spring when the car was coming out of storage, this affects the Becker radio reception but it works. Yes, it has AC. Receipts in the trunk say it was converted to R-134 while in Florida. I'm not sure how to even turn it on, after all this is Minnesota. Note to "The Swede", sure stop over and tell me what you think of it. I've got too much stuff and the 280ce needs to go. Is it priced too high? The Gold Book says a domestic 280ce in "good" shape is worth 6K, this is a eurospec car that's a least good.

The car lived a few mins from me, so I'd see it in the driveway or buzzing by. Cosmetics looked decent. He tried selling it here (I offered to look at it for interested parties) but no one followed through. Hopefully I went to a good home.

Sorry but this seller was totally flaky...I called him the day it posted FS at $1000 and left a VM for him and sent a couple of PM's also...he never called back and never replied to any PMs and then said he donated it like 48 hours after he posted it...basically wasted his time and anyone's who bothered to try and contact him.
