I thought gas was over $3.00 a gallon. I'm putting new brakes all around on this car and then its going to Ebay. I love these darned cars.

I drove it around today and am getting used to it. Its a little more "plush" feeling and driving than my '92 300TD. I think I'll keep it and get rid of the best car I ever owned--my 1992 2.5 TD. The tinted glass is a LOT cooler than non-tint. It gets a little better mileage and has less miles.

I am real surprised I didn't get much action on this car, however.

My pal bought one in Akron, OH, last month with 20k less mileage and heated & Orthopedic seats along with years of detailed mtc records for slightly less than you are asking. I think its a great vintage. Great power w/o a turbo too.

By looking at the pictures, this looks like a real 1995 special edition model.

Some people call all 1995 W124 cars "special edition" models, but most aren't.

The dead give away on your car is the burl walnut wood and the 6 hole alloys.
