1978 Mercedes 300CD, car is not running needs new engine or rebuild, transmission is strong, car has around 150k miles. Car needs a repaint.

The good: Dash is very nice, three small cracks, brand new radiator (0 miles), front breaks completely redone: new rebuild front calipers with the thicker pads, new vacuum pump, new brake booster, improved head lights, new head light doors, rebuild original Becker radio (have receipts), new antenna motor, new door and trunk locks ($750 at the dealer), replaced most of the seals: doors, front window, all weather strips door windows and rear windows ($ 250 for both!), replaced a lot of the suspension, sway-bar bushings replaced, new battery and very rare chrome 15' Bundts with good tires.

The bad: Engine needs replacement or rebuild, AC is not working (previous owner disconnected it) heater is only working in the top position. drivers seat back rest torn, needs repaint, rear drivers side window wont go all the way down, very common for this model.

Was planning to replace the engine but circumstances make me have to sell my beloved 300CD.

Because of the 15' Bundts and many new parts I think I can ask for $1500, prefer pick up but will assist with transportation for a MB shop member.
