1984 280E AMG 5-speed - RARE
Rare doesn't begin to explain it. It's an actual w123 280e with a 5-speed, AMG modifications include AMG cam, limited slip rear, body kit, and wheels/tires. Always garaged and always cared for. Drives wonderfully - amazingly.
Need to sell it - I now have a 500SL AMG and have no room for both. You can read more here: http://www.fleetfilter.com/contentpage.asp?ContentID=108 btt@houston.rr.com - Brian |
I take it by your sig line you sold your 124:(
|
That is such a beautiful car. I enjoyed looking at all the pictures.
|
Yessir, sold it to a real nice guy. He's coming next weekend to get it. No sorrows; I'm going to start putting some bigger money into the SL to make it damn-close-to-perfect. That's a fun machine there...

$8500.. man I wish I had it... I reallllly want it
|
I wish I could sell it to someone who'd care about it. On the other hand, I wish I could keep it. I'd hate to leave it outside under the pine trees - even with a cover, but I can't leave two AMGs in the garage and three cars in the driveway. It's just too much.

will you accept my soul and or any body organs as a down payment?

meh.. I just want a gasser W123 for some odd reason.. Surely someone will buy it.
I'd buy it just for its history |
And someone did - an MB enthusiast in Canada. Nice guy; he'll come down in early July and drive it back. I'm down to the "lowly" SL AMG, now, dammit.

84 280e
You have a really nice car there for sale. Just a thought, post an ad for it on both the Seattle and Portlant Craiglists. I think it will be gone within a week.
Thanks for your response re my 126. |
