I have a 1988 brown 260E with dark brown leather interior that I am looking to sell whole or will part out if so desired. The car is in good condition except for the motor. I have had a mechanic look at it and I was quoted spun main bearings and the cost of repair is more than I care to put into the car as I have spent over $1600 previously.
New fuel sending unit
complete brake work
new tires
mercedes certified rebuilt transmission
climate control unit
I have a full set of pictures i can sendand can take specific photos of requested.
The car is located in Roswell, Georgia

I am looking at another car with a bad transmission...if I can put one and one together, I might have a good car.

I will have to look for it but am not usre because my father-in-law had the work done in N.C. before I got the car and I am not sure of his record keeping skills.
