1983 280SE W126 Selling Price
 

83 280SE W126 AT with 97k original with books, records ect ect. Car is mint inside and mechanically. Exterior is clean but painted here and there over the years. It matches well (Gold). Obviously a Euro, PW in front, Crank in rear, No Sunroof, AC, Cruise and PL work great. Give me an idea of a retail price (selling to a non Mercedes peddler of course). I want to be fair to whomever purchases the car but I, having had hundreds of vintage Mercedes know that it's worth something. I can honestly say though that I have NEVER had a W126 280SE, and I don't blame anyone from not wanting one. I think a non turbo 300D is faster. The 126 is too heavy for that engine. If you have any clue of what a W126 M110 would go for in the shape described above with no rust what so ever please respond. If you don't have a clue and like perusing though this forum thanks for looking. The car would be for sale on the west coast only. Pic's are available.

I would guess $2500 on the low side and $4000 on the high - hardest part is finding anyone who wants it.
