Very, very Rare - 1000SEL for sale, great addition to MBZ collection

Hello,

I'm selling a 1984 1000SEL. Its been garaged stored since being bought back in 1984. Hasn't been driven for at least 5 years since moving on to other cars. PM for more details and some pics.

California buyers preferred, but not required.

Very rare buy, great for an MBZ collector.

Best,
BM2

Is this like the 1000SEC that was listed here recently? Yeah, we'd like to see some pictures. I'm guessing you're in CA?

Is it a Grand Prix Metalcraft car? How about some details!

What is this, a tease section or a for-sale section? We need details.......oinly supplying them via PM is not going to help you sell the car. If we are not interested, we might know people who are, but need something to go on. Helps us out.

Miles, condition, pictures, authenticity, etc etc. I am always amazed to see for-sale posts like this one.

Hey,

Sorry guys, I just posted this pretty late last night.

I'm located in central CA, San Juaquin Valley. Half way point from SF and OC.

I'm going to get it dusted off and take some pics for you guys to look at.

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh yeah, when I get some pics up I'll fill in some gaps.

As you can see the car has 80k Miles on it

The last time the car was started was in 2000, since then it has just been sitting.

The extererior is a in fair condition considering its age and usage, of course a little TLC and some buffering could do wonders for this car. Sorry couldn't get a good pic of the right side, but its pretty much like the right, if not slightly better.

Interior is pretty clean and well kept.

Only non original part is the stereo head unit. But the original is still there and I beleive it is in working order.

Anyway, please PM for any more details and if oyu guys have any questions. I was going to restore this myself, but never got around to it and figured a true MBZ collector could do it some good that I can't.

I hope that satisfied some of your guy's craving for pics!

Best,
BM2

OK, So aside from a badge, what makes it more special than a regular 560SEL..? No Euro, Nothing special anywhere that I could see, aside from a few plastic body ground effects parts..

Looking at that little tiny 5.0 Litre under the hood is not really what I had visualized ahead of time. I atleast expected the 5.6 litre, but probably a 6.0 litre in the car.

Not tearing you up at all. Just curious, so I had to ask the questions..
