For sale 1983 240D Mercedes. I am the original owner and believe the car is in very good condition, as I think you will agree when you see the pictures. It runs great and all the options work. The car has never been in an accident nor has it even had any of the paint retouched. What you see is what you get. The only rust that is on it is under the battery. I have tried to take pictures of the area near the jack points to show that there is no rust. For twenty-four years I have taken care of my baby and it has taken care of me, never letting me down. I have never treated it badly. Keeping it well maintained. I took it on long trips to see the southern east coast and finally retiring it and me in the warm Florida sun. Now that I am retired my wife does most of the driving with her car also a Mercedes. As for me, I do most of my driving with my golf cart and need the room in the garage for it. I have really put off selling this car for a few years. It’s hard to sell something that is running well and not giving me any problems. I may be retired but this car still has a lot of living to do. It only has 142,621 miles on it.

What a beauty. daughter just informed me that I'm not going to Florida for another Mercedes. I love my 240D. I also like the color of yours.
Was the car always a Florida car, or did you just move to retire in Fl?

My 240D was sold last week to a person in NM. He came into Florida and drove it back to NM. He Emailed me saying that the car ran great all the way home. However he did notice the lack of power trying to climb some of the mountains in NM.

This is the first 240D he has owned. I Emailed him back that the 240D's do not have all that much power, that I could understand why he may have some problems on the mountains. I also told him that If the car did not work out for him that I am sure he could resell it quickly.

So check back on this post and if you see this car for sale again. You will know that it ran well for me for 24 years and it just finished a trip of 1900 miles without a problem.
