1995 Mercedes Benz E300 DIESEL for sale

Black/Alto gray, Gray MBTex, 153K miles, head light wipers, ACC functioning perfectly. Extremely clean, well maintained, 6 cylinder about 28-35 mpg. Baltimore, MD. Asking $10,500.

Becker 1492 stereo modified by Becker with Aux in for MP3 player. I routed the connector into the center console box so that the player is out of sight, but it could be moved.

Recent repairs include LF door check stop, Dent Works dings removed, thermostat, alignment, L & R tie rods, bulbs ACC unit, all O rings on all fuel lines and prefilter, fuel stop, wheel bearings repacked with correct MB grease, sunroof lubed with correct MB paste, cleaned fuel tank sender and new O rings, steering damper, sway bar bushings, cabin dust filters, brake fluid reservoir cap, wiper blade and headlight wiper blades, gray cup holder, all fuel return lines, all PCV rubber, oil cap, expansion tank, front rotors and pads, serpentine belt.

I bought the car September 2005 with 146K miles, and all fluids and all filters have been changed. Cooling system flushed; MB orange coolant fill. Oil & filter every 5K miles. Polished and waxed. No rust or accident repairs (i.e., all original paint).

Issues: minor rash on side of rear bumper insert, two small gouges in rear bumper insert, outside temperature display blank, a few surface cracks in the console wood polyurethane.

I had planned to keep this car for the rest of my life (along with my 91 300TE), but am selling it to buy a 95 E300 Special Edition.

Asking $10,500.

If you open the images in Microsft Paint (look under accesories) and resave them with a different file name, you'll get the file size way down there.

Dave, stumbled across this...Damn thats a nice car! Musssst biiiiid Ebay ! Won't win it, but damn thats nice. How to justify..Daughter gets the 300E in two years, my mom could use it meanwhile, then I get it. Plus you're almost in my backyard (northern DE).... Ok, I'm better now but still must bid on principle. Good luck with the sale.

what's the difference between your E300 and a Special Edition?

The Special Edition W124 E300 diesel and E320 cars have burl wood trim instead of Zebrano, different wheels (5 hole wheels instead of 8 hole), and only came in a few colors.

Special Edition

Yes, it was a package to move out the end of model line 124 E320’s and E300’s before the new 210’s rolled in- burl wood, special paint, phone, CD changer, memory seats, ss door sills, 5 hole wheels. The car I found also has leather, ASD, heated seats, and wipers, so I think that it's an E300 with every option one could order in the USA.

Does that make it a rare, high value collectable automobile? Not exactly….

$12k

FWIW, I sold mine this weekend for $12k. Granted, it only had 67,800 miles (no options though).

read all the posts

Yes, Skid Row, $10.5K is a big number, but that was then, and not what the reserve on ebay is NOW. Check post #11 for the obvious clue for what I'll accept. I too know of two E300's with 100K miles or so that really sold for $11k and $11.5K. We'll see what happens with my 150K miles car. Happy Thanksgiving!
