Exclamation FS: 1979 450SLC, loc: 97215, $3K OBO

Hello,

I have this SLC I need to sell as I never really drive it, and now I don't have a room in the garage.

It's a Portland car, and I'm the 3rd owner, since 2001. I have all records even from POs. The clock shows about 220k.

Recent (mile-wise): new timing chain and valves (at MBI), transmission rebuilt (at Auto Trans Svce, SE 7th), H-rated Firestones, catalytic converter, AC servo.

Interior clean, seats somewhat worn. Paint faded on roof/hood only.
Tools, bundt-rim spare, 1st Aid kit. Pwr windows/sunroof all work. No radio.

Questions: Post a reply, PM or email me, replace the x's with my username here in this: xxxxxx@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Alex [ak_pdx]

I wanted to add: no rust whatsoever!

It looks as if there are no SLC enthusiasts around here. Would anyone care to recommend a site to offer it?

The car may need an occasional TLC, but it's mechanically very sound and enjoys 130-140mph.

I _meant_ the OBO clause, although I wouldn't want to to go below $2k.

I like your car. I wish I had two grand so I could buy it. Oh well! Ill I like the coupes more than the SL's personal taste I guess. Good luck with the sale.
