WTB 124 or 126 diesel car
I have just changed jobs and am looking for something to drive everyday that gets good mileage. A 300SDL or SD or a wagon would be great. I'm a salesman and will be doing a lot of driving.

From a fuel economy standpoint I would reccomend the 300D 2.5 Turbo or the 1994-1995 E300 Diesel.
From a practicality standpoint, there isn't much you can't fit in an SDL or a TD wagon. Keep in mind that the cars that I have outlined have different diesel engines.

Thanks, 280. I'll keep that in mind. I'll have to see what is readily available first. Appearance-wise, the 126 is hard to beat. I think it's one of the best-looking MB's ever.

For the right price.......
Don't know your price range, but, as you surely know, good examples of the type of car you are thinking about will not be inexpensive IMHO.
