1964 220Sb, Great Resto Candidate!
I know I'm crazy but I couldn't let this one sit another minute in the garage it's been in for 20 years. Basically it is a very solid car and would be a good restoration candidate since the body is basically nearly rust free. There is a single hole behind the passenger front wheel but it has not rusted out the bottom of the rocker yet. There also some minor rust behind the driver's rear wheel. The entire unibody and door bottoms are darn near rust-free and perfectly solid. I can send closeups of these areas to interested parties.
The car has an auto tranny, power disc/drum brakes and power steering. I've ordered some parts for it already as the front brakes are in rough shape so I will take car of replacing the calipers/rotor and pads in the coming week or so. I also ordered a windshield seal as the existing one dry-rotted during the Reagan administration. I'm on the fence as to whether to take on the restoration myself or not but if someone in New England has an itching for one of these this is a good starter. It runs and I just drove it around the parking lot, though, as I said, the front brakes drag quite a bit so it is hard to evaluate it further until those are fixed. Once it is roadworthy I'd need to get $3000 for it so let me know if anyone out there wants to take it on, come and get it.

Nope, it must be a different one...it's now parked outside my office up in Bedford, NH. For the past 20 years it has been in a garage in Wolfeboro and before that spent the prior 20 years in Florida which is why it is relatively rust-free.

Nice looking car. If it was a coupe, I'd be interested.

I've lowered my expectations and set the reserve at less than I have in the car ($2000) in order to find it a new home before spring. If it doesn't sell this time I'll store it until then and finish the rest of the work myself.
